National Academy of Social Insurance
The Academy’s internship programs —The Washington Internship on Social Insurance, The Somers Aging and Long-Term Care Research Internship, The Rashi Fein Internship in Health Policy, and The Eileen Sweeney Graduate Internship in Disability Policy – offer a wide array of opportunities and a $4,500 stipend. For 28 years, the Academy’s internship program has focused on developing young leaders in the social insurance field. Last year, nine outstanding young scholars were selected to spend their summer in Washington, DC working at various agencies and organizations under the supervision of Academy members like you. The 2017 class of interns came from colleges and universities across the nation and included both undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students studying social policy and other fields such as economics, health policy, international affairs, and medicine.
The Academy is looking for 10-15 outstanding summer interns for 2018.
