Calling All Health Science & Public Health Volunteers! Tent City Collective needs YOUR HELP!

Calling All Health Science & Public Health Volunteers! Tent City Collective needs YOUR HELP! Housing justice is a key social determinant of health! We can take action on houselessness on our own campus.
Last year, Tent City Collective organized so that UW would host Tent City 3, an organized encampment. With your help, UW’s resources can once again safely house 100 people in Winter 2019! With the resounding success of TC3’s groundbreaking stay last year, TCC is aiming for a longer ~6 month stay and a commitment for UW to regularly host organized encampments. We need lots of students involved to get this effort moving.

Join Tent City Collective the evening of the 28th at room 235 in Thomson Hall for a discussion and workshop on houselessness in Seattle and how UW students can organize for housing justice. There will be chili! and awesome conversation.

When: Tuesday Nov. 28th, 4:30 – 6 pm

Where: Thomson Hall Rm. 235
