UW Heart Screening 4/19/17

Calling all UW students!

Join the Nick of Time Foundation at UW on April 19th, 2017 in the HUB Lyceum for a FREE Heart Screening.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is the leading cause of sudden death in young adults during exercise.

The purpose of this heart screening is to detect any signs of abnormalities that can lead to SCA and provide information about CPR/AED use.

The screening includes checking vitals, an Electrocardiogram (ECG), and an Echocardiogram (Ultrasound) if needed. All results are reviewed on-site by cardiologists and sports medicine physicians experienced in ECG heart screenings!

The Nick of Time Foundation at UW is an RSO on campus dedicated to educating the local community about Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and death in young people.

Through our partnership with the UW Sports Medicine Clinic and the Nick of Time Foundation organization we will be hosting a special heart screening for UW students ages 25 or younger.

Appointments are available every 15 minutes from 10:00am – 5:00pm and are expected to only take 40 minutes!

Have an hour break in between classes? Come in and get screened!
