The application to be the Student Regent has officially opened!
The University of Washington Board of Regents consists of 10 members, one of whom is a student and voting member who provided a student perspective on high-level University decisions, such as approving the university budget, setting some tuition rates, and approving capital projects. The Student Regent represents the varying perspectives of students at the university – both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as students at the Bothell, Seattle, and Tacoma campuses. The Student Regent is appointed by the governor to serve a 1-year term.
