The Ropes: Understanding and Engaging Youth Homelessness

ROOTS Young Adult Shelter will facilitate their workshop, The Ropes: Understanding and Engaging Youth Homelessness, for the University of Washington community twice during winter quarter. This workshop addresses youth and young adult homelessness in an interactive and informative three-hour training. Join us to learn more about causes and characteristics of youth homelessness, the nature of street life and culture, and tools for engaging with at-risk youth and young adults.

Please forward widely as this workshop provides an excellent opportunity to gain additional insight into the causes and effects of homelessness, allowing those in attendance to be better equipped to advocate for and engage with those experiencing homelessness in our community.

Wednesday, January 25th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in Mary Gates Hall 258
Thursday, February 23rd from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in Mary Gates Hall 258

We would love to know who’s coming! Please take a moment to RSVP HERE.

Interested in attending but can’t make either date work? ROOTS hosts the workshop monthly at New Horizons. Dates and times can be found HERE.
