Original Voices: Homeless Women Read from their Published Writings

When: Monday, September 12, 2016, 7 – 8pm

Location: Seattle Public Library University Branch on Roosevelt Way.

Description: Homeless and formerly homeless women from Mary’s Place, a day center in Seattle, will read from their published writings. Julie Gardner, editor of the book "Original Voices," will speak briefly about the writing program at Mary’s Place, and several women will read from their published work.

Books will be available for purchase. Book proceeds will benefit women and writing at Mary’s Place.
