Today I am contacting you on behalf of GlobeMed at the University of Washington to invite you to our 4th annual Benefit Dinner. As some of you might know, GlobeMed is a student-led-nonprofit at UW that partners student leaders at universities across the United States with grassroots organizations in different areas of the world in order to address health inequities and enact locally driven, sustainable solutions. All proceeds from our event will benefit our partner, the MINDS Foundation, a grassroots organization committed to eliminating stigma and providing educational, medical, and moral support for patients with mental illnesses in rural India.
This year our 4th annual benefit dinner will be held on Saturday, May 7th at St. Demetrios Hall in Montlake. Please join us for this lively evening featuring a silent auction, a keynote speech by Stephen Bezruchka, a fabulous catered Indian dinner, performances from various UW students groups, and more!
More information can be found on the attached flyer. Tickets can be bought individually, or at a discounted table price. They are now available at: http://www.universe.com/saathi2016. If you are unable to attend, you are still able to make a donation under “Buy tickets”.
